About

Lisa is a mixed media three dimensional artist. Working predominantly in sheet material such as paper, plastic and metal, Lisa hand cuts and sculpts the material, enabling her to connect with the work in a dynamic way; releasing emotions through expressive movement, colour and texture.

“Lisa Lloyd’s work is a dialogue between material, movement, and memory. The British artist creates three-dimensional sculptures that capture both the fragility and intensity of the natural world. Her practice is not only about form, but also about a process that allows her to channel emotion into a physical act of making.”

Lisa began to work with paper around 10 years ago and has produced paper artwork and sculptures for both commercial and private clients around the world. This includes commercial commissions ranging from editorial work to large scale installations and visual merchandising.

She has been working in the commercial industry for over 20 years. Starting her career as a graphic designer and animator in London, and working on TV commercials for the music industry.

After this she moved on to direct live action music videos and eventually co-owned and was the creative director of an animation company based in London.

In 2025 Lisa was awarded a scholarship with QEST and has embarked on a new journey to explore metal as a material. Creating mixed media pieces and developing new skills in metal work including electro forming paper. You can follow her journey on Instagram: lisa_lloydpaper
